Techquity was born from a simple idea:  Many accomplished and financially independent tech executives want to stay engaged in the industry working with other smart people on projects that are meaningful and interesting to them and that are strategic and impactful.  They want to do this while also exploring other interests - but are not sure how to make that happen.

Techquity offers a better way to stay engaged in the industry than working independently. We are creating a “4th place” to work that is easier, more flexible and fun than working on your own. Techquity members have zero to prove which gives them options to work at larger companies (1st place to work), early stage ventures (2nd place) or as solo advisors on their own (3rd place). Techquity offers a better together 4th workplace alternative with collective efforts on projects as well as marketing and business development, and smart peers to work with and learn from.

Sharing work gives members more flexibility for pursuing their other interests. Techquity provides admin support for the things like scheduling, legal, finance, billing and insurance, so Techquity members can focus on interesting work with clients. Each Techquity partner chooses their own level of engagement. While we have collective areas of focus, each member chooses what types of projects are interesting to them while also investing some of their time to help build the Techquity collective.

We are building a network of Techquity partners with diverse expertise across tech, product and business.  We are a collection of experts with a passion for solving technology problems and how to build cost effectively for scale, reliability and security. We understand the importance of working backwards from the customer and making the customer the center of the experience.  We have a wide range of interests, in business and life.  We embrace big challenges because solving well is living well.
